Lunch with Cheryl

"Plain Jane" chicken salad sandwhiches,
chopped green onion, chopped celery,
white chicken breast, some mayo and black pepper.
Add lettuce and freshly cut tomatoes.
Paired with a cup of hot tomato soup
and a tall glass of lemon iced tea.
Enjoy while sitting outside on Cheryl's patio,
watching bluebirds, pigeons, and hummingbirds fly
in their backyard among beautiful summer flowers.
Good food, good friends, good conversation.
Going to Cheryl's house is always such a treat.

p.s.I'm currently suffering from severe allergies,
when I'm feeling better I will share with you
the fantastic place we visted before we had lunch.

在夏日花朵中自由飛翔.
好吃的料理,好朋友,良好的對談.
去Cheryl的家總是個大享受.
