Pon de Lion 波堤獅

Meet Pon de Lion, the adorable donut mascot for Mr. Donut,

a very popular Japanese donut chain in Taiwan.

They have the cutest collectors items,

featuring Pon de Lion and his friends

which you can redeem with points.

This little fellow is very special to me,

because after my friends in Taiwan found out 

how much I like Pon de Lion,

they ate donuts like crazy just to collect enough points.

(I think Yue ate them for a week?!)

It was such a sweet thing for them to do

Every time I see Pon de Lion

I'm reminded of how lucky I am

to have good friends that care about me

from different corners of the world
