Summer rain

These past few days have been stifling hot,
then this afternoon I heard the low rumbling of thunder,
suddenly it started to rain heavily.
This is quite unusual for San Diego.
I ran outside onto the balcony,
and took these photos while the rain poured.
The sound of the rain, the smell of rain in the air
all reminded me of summer in Taiwan.

這幾天天氣很悶熱.
今天下午我聽到打雷聲,
過了不久後突然開始下大雨.
這種事情在聖地牙哥不常發生.
當雨下的最大的時候,
我跑到陽台上照相,
雨的聲音,雨的味道,
都讓我想起台灣的夏天.
