Fourth of July: This year's edition

This year we had an early July fourth celebration
In honor of my grandfather's birthday
we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant

今年我們提早幾天慶祝美國國慶
我們在中國餐廳幫阿公慶生

Afterwards our relatives invited us
to watch July fourth fireworks at the local high school
During the singing of the national anthem,
the flag bearers are standing in the football field
之後我們的親戚邀請我們
一起到附近的高中欣賞國慶日煙火
在唱美國國歌時
拿國旗的人站在美式足球場上

Fireworks draw in the nightsky with colors
夜空,是煙火的畫布

And we got to meet Holly the hamster,
a busy new mommy of five hamster babies!
